Yes, I 100% agree to this. At the offset of 26 years here, even I had or have been playing multiple roles - from a role of crying baby, student, son, brother, friend (for quite a few) , uncle and the list grows on. On the course of time you end up creating two types of people around you - one who cares and one who don't cares. End of the day what others expect out of you or you should expect out of self is to be good human, and make yourself emboss in mind that there are still more roles to play in this lifetime. Self-discipline is one of the major factor that can impact your role, let me add another thing the principles (spectrum of principles, because you sometimes need to compromise on that too) you follow in life.
Sometimes I wonder, am I playing more than what I am supposed to? But, there is no hard-and-fast rule for the number of roles. I accept this way... as the life goes on, thou should assess and wear the various role. ; play your part in life but never forget that it is only a role and you never know when the play will END!
