For me, my opinion matters

At times, we tend to or will have to consent with others for many reasons - to gain trust, to resolve conflict, and so on. Hence your opinion may or may not sound healthy for others; having said so does not mean that we should stop opining and listen to others every time.
If you or I do so constantly, then there will not be any relevance in one's presence in life. Whether or not you are counted, always stand tall to opine. You never know when your thoughts are explicit from others, which may lead to make a greater impact.
  • Be your boss (at least to your thoughts), instead of others' being yours.

The way we make our decisions also shows how efficient we are. Unfortunately, most of us want to be/forced to be “Yes-men,” accepting orders from above, which may or may not be right.
